end of final project but not the end of my stress!! really glad p1 is done but not glad that mm fund is still on. i am really feeling very stress right now! this is the worst stress i ever had in my whole of 19 years of life and i am like so tired of it.
now is 12.10 and i have somehow finished my website design!!woohoo!! i am so happy but there is still journal in which i have to type out. well, i guess that not the big issue. the most important thing is, i am done with my mm fund!!! now o can fully enjoy my holiday and no tension what so ever. only have to wait for year 2. overall, about P1, i enjoy doing the production even though the post-production is a killer, it somehow make me be prepared for the following years if i were to into video. even though it is tedious, i have learnt a lot of lessons in doing this. P1 also make my group members bond closer because we spent 2 months together and friendship are very important to me. basically, P1 is very time-consuming, a killer, but also a very meaningful and useful subject. i am glad i went through this modules. after all the stress, now it is enjoying time!!

the end of the block!! woohoo! i am so happy about it because end of my 50% of stress. as usual, in the morning, came to mmfund class to do the stressful work and meet up with them at 11+. to my surprised, i realised that yuan and Germaine have been rendering the video for 6 times because the video is choppy and lagging. poor them, they have been working their butts off for this project. hats off for them!! thanks a lot guys! appreciate all the things you guys have done for the group.they were quite panic, i guess, about the rendering stuff. after about 7 times of rendering, raj came and told us that do not matter if the video is choppy because the video size is too big and the computer would not be able to play the video in a very good quality. and so, we finished off the rendering and transfer it to the tape. lucky for us, the lecturers push the due time to 1 instead of 12 .so, we still have some time to do the transferring.
at LT 25, we have to present our videos and i really think that most of them did a very good job for their video. the best to me are snap production and crewsade inc. they are the best and their videos were really well done,. and right now, i really feel like punching them. but, good for them. the animation done by raj from crewsade inc. was like the best thing i have ever seen. i am really jealous of his ability. but, i fine with that because everyone have their own talent and good job for them! as for my group, we did a pretty good job.however, there are some problem in the audio. might be because too much of noise are extracted out and so problem occured and we cannot do anything about it right now but to just hope that we can get quite good grades.
anyway, i am really glad p1 had finished!!cannot wait to get my social life back and enjoy the enjoyment that i have missed out during the production of the final project. once again, good job to my group mates and also the rest of the MOI students. enjoy the holiday people!!

i have started with my mmfund final work and i really,really, hope i can finish it on time. i am like worry s**t right now.
well, i meet up with them after my mmfund class and their re-edit the credits and add some music to it. on this day, i think i did not help much because, my mind is totally on mmfund. i am really worry about it. mmfund is killing me!! basically, i help out with finding the song for the credits and about 3.30, i went up to do my mmfund. and i heard, yuan and Germaine stayed back until 11+ to finish up the whole thing and due to lack of time, they have to render it tomorrow and they are meeting at 10am.thanks guy!!
i felt kind of guilty not doing much at the end of the post-production because i got no choice but to concentrate more on my mmfund because i do not want to retake this modules again and really hope i manage to pass this modules.

many,many,many things done today. we worked our butts off this day and i must say, this is the worst day i have encountered during the MOI project1. we did alot of things. germaine did the audio and she did pretty good job i must say. good job germaine!! yuan did the allan character and the credits plus the bloopers. i helped her with the credits and bloopers after i am done with my re-typing of the script. actually, we want to make the credits interesting but we do not really know how to use after effect and so we make it really simple. but i think, it was good. yuan also did the concept and the silent movie which is the end of our video. meanwhile, jas did the 2D animation character and the 2D art fund also. yup, did about 90% of our stuffs and fort he very first time of my year 1 life, i stayed back until 11+ with yuan and germaine in order to finish up most of our video. and so, tomorrow, we had to do the final editing and the final audio. hopefully, things go well.

they planned to meet up on this day to compile everything and so, Germaine can do the audio. however, at night i received message from Germaine saying that they did not meet up. and i do not know why. but one thing for sure, this means that we have to finish off everything by tomorrow because we have to transfer the video into tape by Tuesday. so, we have to get going..chaos!!(cannot wait for p1 to finish!!)

i cannot really remember what we did everyday and i decided to just compile everything together in 1 blog. basically, we did the animation and audio. we splilt the work so that we can get things finish faster. i work with jasmine while germaine work with yuan ming. since i donot have comoputer at home, i meet up with jasmine in school and do our animation in school. on one day, yuan ming and germaine did the animation in their own house and so they do not meet us in school.that's the only day where they did it in school. initially, we planned to sleepover at jasmine's house and do our animation there. we planned that way because we wanted to finish up our work faster. by doing that, we can do animation over the night and more stuff can be done faster.but, i donot know why, that plan was put aside. and so, everyday we meet and do the animation in school. stressed, tensed and frustration built up during post-production. rushing for time are obvious.problems such as we cannot export the video to premiere pro really held everything back. but, i tried to be cool and just get going with work. overall, this week is the most tedious week of the whole 2 months. but, we tried to get about 90% done on this week. so, ya, hopefully, things went out well.keep working ppl!! you can do it!! chaos!!

Day 26
well, our group screwed up a lot!! we did not follow the planned timeline, we are all screwed!! like we have planned to meet on Sunday but plan cancelled, for what reason, i am not sure. now all of us are so panic and screwed.(yup, i used the word screwed again because WE ARE REALLY SCREWED!!!!!!) for this few days, we did not do anything. now, on Monday, 10th march, we in school but doing nothing. done the PowerPoint presentation but not really done. man, we're SCREWED!!jas was not feeling well so she tried sending to yuan's email the footages but, we can't open it. she tried for quite a number of time but the same problem occured. now, i really did not know what to do. hopefully we can finish it before submission day. god bless us!!

Day 25
we meet up in school. but, jas was unable to come because she was too tired to come to school and so, only me, yuan and germ came. we did the character design in which yuan had do some research on and germ drew out the animated version of the group members. pretty well done i must say. good job germ!!our group then had our character designers which are germ and yuan!! after that, we photocopied the character design and had animated version of allan being re size into bigger size.
ans so, we scanned the images in yuan thumbdrive and end the 'meeting session' of our group. we are not meeting tomorrow and also on saturday. but will be meeting on sunday to do animation and stuff like that. the exact venue are yet to be discuss but most probably will be at jasmine's place.
that's all! chaos!!

day 24
in the morning, Jas went to take the footage from the 3D lab and so, we did the editing in her laptop. editing was quite OK-OK. not that easy and not that difficult. while editing, i realised that we had a lot of NGs. we had quite a number of bloopers also though. after editing, our video was only 7 minutes long!! and it was shorter that required!! anyway, nothing to panicked about because we have yet to add the end credits and some footage of the bloopers we had. and yes, we finished editing in ONE DAY!! good job people!!

i really felt that we had wasted our time coming to school today! another bad news come to us, the bad news is the folder in which saved our footages are not in wendy's hard disc. it was all gone. it went to don't know where. me and germ were so panic that we had to find another alternatives. and so, we told wahidah about it and thought of retrieving it back from the 3D lab and since it was used for FYP, we had a bit of a problem retrieving it. however, wahidah helped us by calling Alan and stuff like that.(thanks, wahidah!) and then, when all the group members came, we told them about it and since germ brought the tape, we decided not to take it from the 3D lab but to recapture it back into Jas's laptop.we borrowed the videocam and tried to capture it. but, another problem came. we are unable to capture it because the wire given and not suitable for laptop. and so, we had to call wahidah and asked to help us by telling alan that we need to retrieve the footage from 3D lab. after some time, wahidah(thanks, wahidah) called me and said that the only time we can have our footage is at 9am the next day. and so, Jas volunteered(thanks Jas) to came early to school tomorrow and retrieve back the footage.
after so many problems we encountered,basically what we did for today is just installing premiere pro to jas's laptop so that it's easier for us to work without the need to 'fight' for computer in school.

Day 20
before we shoot, yuan message me and she told me that she planned to re-shoot the COMDI part because she find something is wrong and stuff like that. but, we can't do that because i have lost my voice due to the flu i had a few days ago. i sounded like a rock star. hahahaha. it's was fun to lost voice at times.hahahah, retard!
anyway,on this day,we managed to shoot the animation which is yuan's part and photography which is germ's part.
the animation was a bit of a chaos. i had a bit of argument in the classroom where we discuss about the animation scenes. i don't know if i should put it as argument but i guess it's just a misunderstanding maybe. well, it get cleared up in the end.
we did the animation in 3D lab, it was fun because yuan was like a child playing with the green monster. hahahahaha. i like the part when she make the monster fell in the hole for few times. it was so hilarious because while doing that, she said 'fall down, fall down' in a child-like voice. so cute!!
after the 3D lab, yuan had to run out of the door because the monster punched her in the eye. this shot also had many NG because she had to flung the door without making the people in the lab be seen but she kept flunging the door so widely that we can see the people in the lab. after this, we go to the photography scenes which was shot at the Koi pond.
this is also another funny scene. in these scenes, we had to use fake butterfly and we had to show yuan's punched eye to the audience. about the fake butterfly, it was funny because we make it obvious that someone was holding the butterfly. we also had many NG for this shots. 1st, the shot of the fake butterfly took off from the bushes, alot of NG because whenever the 'butterfly' flew, it get stuck at the top of the frame because Jas(holding the butterfly) cannot make the butterfly flew higher because of some human problem. hehehehehe.(no offence Jas!!)
2nd, the shot where germ ran after the butterfly at the background while yuan revealed her punched eye.a lot of NG because camera cut not long enough and germ and Jas at the background ran out of frame and that was the funniest part of the whole photography scenes. it may not sound funny but this kind of funny is the kind where you have to watch in order to laugh at it.(if you get what i meant).
after all the shot finished, we did some capturing of the videos in 3D lab and went home after that.at the end of this day, one thing is for sure, WE FINISHED OUR SHOOTING!!WOOHOO!!GOOD JOB MY GROUP MEMBERS!!

Day 17
Halo!! actually, we planned to do intro on this day but, they wanted to move the paintings and so we changed the whole schedule and we did 2D art fundamental on this day. it was fun doing this. we had alot of NG. we did alot of bloppers also. i like the part where we hide behind our own paintings. it was so fun. i felt like a detective. hahahaha. we also did alot of running too. so many NG for the runiing scene. i didnt know that to get a good shot of running can be that difficult. anyway, we really had fun on this day. alot of laughing and bloppers. SO,FUN!! CHAOS!!

Day 16
actually, we planned to do our shooting of the introduction today but it seems like everyone';s busy and i do not think that we can get any help from anyone for our shooting and so, we will do the shooting on next Monday. and we must really, really, really get on with the shooting. we will stay quite late and try to finish our shooting by the end of next Friday. so,YEAH!! let's buck up everybody!! chaos!!

Day 15
i really screwed up yesterday, i accidentally dropped the videocam and the battery went flat. on the process of trying out the recording, i accidentally record over the shot that we have shoot. and now, we have to res hoot the whole thing. thanks, kirin!! i felt really guilty because im quite worried as to what my group members will say about it. anyway, im really sorry guys!!
today, we had our interim assignment. we presented evrything that we have done to the class.

i really screwed up yesterday, i accidentally dropped the videocam and the battery went flat. on the process of trying out the recording, i accidentally record over the shot that we have shoot. and now, we have to res hoot the whole thing. thanks, kirin!! i felt really guilty because im quite worried as to what my group members will say about it. anyway, im really sorry guys!!
today, we had our interim assignment. we presented evrything that we have done to the class.

Day 14
well,we have started shooting the 1st scene.and that is the intro.we do quite a few takes before we actually get a good take. 1st,we asked help from rina and yvonne and the good thing is, they agreed to help us. thanks guys!!we did abt 2 takes with them but unfortunately, they are unable to stay long because they have their onw work to do. anyway, thanks gerls!! then, we asked jeremy and raj help. and, they agreed too!!thanks guys!! we did about 3 takes with them. some of the no good take, are all because of the other students. in one way or another, they actually disrupt our shooting. "thanks" people!!"appreciate" that!! but anyway, we managed to get good take and all our members like it..so,good job people!! thats all!!

Day 13
we've start shooting!
im happy for that.but,our camera kinda give us problem.yesterday, i tried to shoot some footage using the videocam and it work out well. i tried to playback the footege and yup, it's good. however, today when we want to start shooting, it cant playback. at first, i tried to rewind as i want to record over the footage that i have took yesterday but it cant be played. and so, we asked wahidah for help and she said it need some cleaning up. we went to the equipment room and asked the uncle. he cleaned it using the tape cleaner but still it gave problem. we came the second time and he gave us anoyher tape.and that tape worked. so, in state of us getting to shoot more scenes, we wasted quite some time due to the tape problem. well,anyway, problem always came in things like this so im not surprised.overall, i find that for roughly about 1 hour, we did a pretty good job. fun working with the three girls anyway!!

today, abit slack. i did not bring the re-typed script and so after the morning class, we go to the computer lab and type it out. we print it and gave to wahidah to do more discussions.eventually, she liked it but abit of hesitating here and there but we worked that out.and, we can start shooting!! atlast!

today, at last i brought the script.jasmine did not attend the group discussion because she down with fever and swollen throat. pity her!well, we discussed the script with wahidah and eventually, she liked it. i didnt know that i can write script..hahahaha.. 1 talent discovered. she did few adjustment that i think relevant. we added few points after her suggestions. the suggestions are good because it make our video more fun. so,thanks wahidah! basically, thats all that happen today!bye!!

Day 10
first of all, HAPPY VAlentine!!
however, today is kind like my 'unlucky' day.in the morning, i wake up late and so i missed my morning class. after reaching school, i realised that i forgot to bring my script. its kinda stupid!!
anyway, today my group had not much to discuss on because we had everything sorted out. jas was absent because she had fever but thats fine to us.apart from all that, yuan had her green monster thing that she showed me and germ. after showing, we thought of making a whole new monster but still working on it.also, germ had audio to let me and yuan listen to. the audios will be use in the video to make it more interesting.most of the songs are nice. well done germ!we had make our choices and will finalised it together with jas tomorrow i guess.
after all that, we went back to class and told wahidah what we had done and due to me not bringing the script, we dont really had much to discuss with wahidah.
we also did a new timeline because wahidah informed us that this week, we cant really loan videocamera from school because yaer 3 students are still using.we can only have it next week. so, we had to bring forward our shooting schedule and do some adjustment on the timeline in which i have did it just now.
and, that's it for today!

Day 9
we showed yuan and jas the script and the place we reccee. they liked it. thank god!! we do not really did much today though. we learned that we need to change the style of the script as wahidah had sent us the format that is required. it was very detail it which the camera angles and more stuffs are needed to be included.it need to be detailed

Day 8
to my surprised, before going to school i received message from germaine saying that yuan cant make it school. yuan had cramp which really painful im sure.but, im fine with that.so,no worries!

Day 7
after long break, here we are again back with the final project. we kinda still in a holiday mood though, but we still get on with the discussion. however, we did discussion with only 3 members because jas in malaysia. we managed though.we did on the storyboarding and we managed to get it done! thanks germ and yuan! we only left with the script and reccee the place to shoot. that will be done tomorrow. basically, we get the pre-production things all sorted out. we also had come up with a group name. LOONEY BIN!! kind of like cartoon-type but funny though,hahahah. we aslo did draft of the timeline and timeline is IMPORTANT because that make us get thing on target.well,basically thats all folks!!

Day 6
Presentation day!! i was late for the early discussion that my group had before class starts. i got a terrible stomachache that make me went in and out of the toilet a few times. so,stupid!!
the presentation went smoothly. basically, we had everything that needed to be shown up in the slides. i find that jas did a good jod. well done jas! allan told us some things that needed to be done such as timeline and stuff like that. we really took in seriously because that is improtant so that everything went on smoothly.
after presentations, we did storyboard and germaine and yuan actually panic! they worry we cant get things finished on time. but, after me and jas calm them, yhey seem pretty calm though.

Day 5
day 5, well its just like any other days. i cant wait to see the presentation that jas had done. the funny part is, she thought the presentation is today but its not, i dont blame her though because somtimes we people get mixed up. so, no worries! however, she showed us the presentation on computer and i find it good, she had all the points out and all. but, after wahidah told us thingsd that need to be include in the slides, we realised we had 1 slides not in and that is the roles for each of us. well, that not a big problem.

Day 4
today class started off with wahidah showing us more videos on the different ways to do documentaries. i find that some of the videos are very useful in order to make our videos interesting. the videos showed us the different ways we can use the camera angle and stuff like that.
after all that, we did more discussions on our project. basically, for this discussions, we decide on what subject we going to include in our video. my group chose ComDI, 2D anim, digital photography and animation fund. we put in more details for our ideas. our video is about the four of us flashing back about the first time we met and the modules that we had taken and that is what we decided to do for the final.
about the presentation slides, jasmine agreed to do the whole slides. we are thankful for that, anyway, thanks jas!. in the slides, we include objectives,genre,target audience,format and stuffs. we also include some details on what we going to include in the contents.
basically, thats all for today!

Day 3
on this day, we(all 3 classes) get together at LT25. the 3 lecturers showed us some videos which can help us in our final project. they showed us the different styles on how to make our introduction and ending more interesting. i find that most of the styles are very well done. it may look easy but the process in making it will be very time-consuming. during the showing of the different styles, i find that i have quite a few ideas on how to make my final project interesting. some of the videos that i think i can make as an examples are the video on monsters inc and the iron man. that videos are very straight forward. those who watched only the beginning, will know what the story is about. however, i do not really like the video on the mountain expedition. that video is very unorganised and it make me had a headache after watching it for quite sometime. it overall, i find that the lecturers had help us quite a lot by showing us the different ways to do on our final project.
Day 2
i was absent on this day due to some problem. however, i did asked my friends what they did yesterday. basically, they just discuss on the final project. it was more detailed and they make it even more interesting.

Day 1
Today's lesson is quite OK. We listen to lecture given by Allan at LT25. I somehow know what we are suppose to do for the final project. In class,we did some discussions on what we want to do for the final. We get into group and do the discussions. I like the group that i was in. I knew some of them like Germaine and yuan but i do not really know jasmine. She's fine, quite crazy though(no offence,jasmine). They really have a lot of fun ideas on what to do for the final project. it was hilarious. Well, i am really looking forward for the coming lessons and to get started on the project with my group members.
